Dj Rich Kid a Canadian born Richard Cash Williams in Port More Jamaica, start djing at a tender age, he was always the first to pick up the mike and ‘freestyle’ when the opportunity presented itself while playing with his cousins sound system throughout Jamaica. forming an affiliation with CG Records &“Nite Starr” Sound system playing for others at parties, weddings, stage show and special events,he has focused his energies on putting out an album, show casing his lyrical prowess and versatility working with “ Anchor Recording Studios” in Jamaica and “Lair Recording Studios”, Eagle force Entertainment and Iguana Recordings, in Canada”. After releasing his two debut singles “Freaky Freaky Ting” and “Penny For My Touch” on the C&G Promotion Label, Dj Rich Kid talent and exposure puppel him to spin & shar the stage with many international artists such as Beenie Man, Capleton, Admiral Bailey, Sing Melody, Professor Nuts, Wayne Wonder Cappadonna ‘Wu-Tang Clan’, Lady Saw, T.O.K, Voicemail, Ding Dong, Ghost just to name a few. He then decided to take his talent to the next level by releasing a video for his single “In The Mix” which won him a Toronto International Award for best video in 2005, and was voted best new Urban-Reggae artist Video.
